The development of this feature is currently in its Beta stage. Due to the complexity of its functions it may come into conflict with 3d party plugins or your theme options, so please test thoroughly. We encourage any user feedback with the reports of errors or inconsistencies that may occur during its usage.
This admin section gives you the option of setting up permalinks for up to 2 filtering parameters of your site. This will allow the change of link type www.yoursite.com/shop/?color=red,blue&size=small to www.yoursite.com/shop/color-red,blue/size-small/.
The URL rewrite mechanisms will get enabled with at least one rewrite page and one rewrite parameter selected.
Rewrite Pages
For optimization purposes any URL rewrites will be limited to the filterable pages that you select in the Rewrite Pages multiselect box. You have the choice of creating filtered permalinks on WooCommerce shop page, as well as on selected WooCommerce archive pages (such as Product Categories, Brands etc.). You can also set up permalinks for pages with filterable [products] shortcodes.
Any filterable page that is not selected in the Rewrite Pages multiselect will not have its filtering parameters rewritten.
Rewrite Parameters
Add up to 2 filtering parameters for permalinks creation.
Premium version users are welcome to set custom parameter labels with the help of the Query parameters labels settings located in the annasta Filters > Plugin Settings > Advanced Settings tab of their WP admin. This will allow the change of parameters of type “pa_colors-filter” to easier readable alternatives, for example “colors“.
